Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that it has donated RMB 500,000 to the Red Cross of China for relief efforts aiding victims of the Yushu earthquake. Yushu County, in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of Qinghai Province, was devastated by a 7.1-magnitude earthquake on April 14th.

Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL), Nissan’s joint-venture in China, also pledged a donation of equipment valued at RMB 3 million, and additionally it will provide 6 Nissan X-TRAIL SUVs to support rescue activities in the region.
